Dear Members and Friends of St. John in the Wilderness,

This Sunday, August 2, we plan to celebrate outdoors live and in person Morning Prayer at 10 AM in the glen behind the rectory adjacent to the park. You'll be entering around either side of the rectory. There will be hand sanitizing and bulletins to pick up.

People are asked to bring lawn chairs, masks – and prayer books if you have one to bring. Service sheet attached. The plan is to continue this schedule for the remainder of the summer. We plan to have on hand extra masks, extra chairs, and hand sanitizer.

We are planning for social distancing, sanitizing and general safety.

Welcome Fr. Walt as celebrant at both services.

Please email me any new prayer requests for Prayers of the People (also any removals).

Please be comfortable choosing either the 9 AM Zoom service or the 10 AM outdoor service (or both if you're in the mood).

Blessings,

John+

PS, We hope to start safely celebrating the 10 AM Sunday morning outdoor service as a Eucharist in August. I plan to let you know in advance when the date is definite.
